Iceland has been a place we've always spoken about going to. Kyle is massively into all things space and science, so seeing the Northern Lights was something he always wanted to do, and of course going to the Blue Lagoon was on top my list as well.<br />

So last November, in a moment of spontaneity, I booked us cheap flights with Wowair. I quickly realised how expensive accommodation was going to be so went on the hunt for an Airbnb and found this gorgeous apartment in downtown Reykjavik for only £287 for 3 nights. It was extremely clean, modern and just what we needed for our stay. Before we arrived we knew there had been snow, but being me I didn't do too much research into it, and when we arrived we were a little surprised at quite how much snow there was. Apparently for the first time in a long time, Iceland had the most snow fall in one night. They had over 50cm fall in one night - that's up to the middle of my shin. You can imagine the struggle we had getting our suitcases over to the apartment through all that snow. It wasn't pretty.<br />

The trips we booked on were the three you kind of have to do when you visit Iceland. There are loads of others, but we went on the most popular tours; the Northern Lights hunt, Golden Circle Tour and the Blue Lagoon.<br />
<br />
We headed straight out on the Northern Lights tour when we arrived. We booked online with Grayline and it was a really great tour. These tours aren't cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for. The coaches to the locations to find the lights are comfortable and clean, and the tour guides are friendly and always give a lot of information.<br />
<br />
We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. It was probably the most breathtaking thing I've ever seen and just couldn't believe that this light was dancing around in the sky so brightly. Even if it was something ridiculous like -4 (or what felt like -20), it was so worth it. The reason we headed out on the tour as soon as we arrived was because if you don't see the lights on your first trip, they let you go again another night for free so we wanted to give ourselves that option if we didn't see them.<br />
<br />
The Golden Circle tour was the one I was looking forward to the least. It was one we booked because we wanted to see the Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysirs, but it wasn't the tour I was most excited about. However, saying that this tour was really good. We spent most of the day on the coach but the views were incredible. The Gullfoss was everything I imagined and although I couldn't take my hand out of my glove for more than 10 seconds, and my face was completely numb, it was incredible to see this huge waterfall in the middle of the Icelandic landscape. The other stops on the tour were the National Park and the Geysirs. I think the Geysirs were my favourite bit. Seeing the water shoot out of the ground was awesome and something I think everyone should go and see.<br />

The last trip was to the Blue Lagoon. I don't need to say much about this as it's always all over Facebook and you can just imagine how awesome it is to be in 40 degree water that is naturally heated in the springs. It was the perfect trip to end our very quick and busy trip to Reykjavik.<br />

If you're thinking about going to Iceland, I couldn't recommend it enough. It's expensive. Very expensive. The food prices there are insane so you'll need a lot of spending money, but it's worth every penny. Also, I'd recommend flying with Wowair. It's cheap, cheerful and the flight attendants are hilarious.<br />
<br />
We want to go back again when it's not snowing and possibly drive around and see it for ourselves. I'd love to head down to the south coast and also do some of the other tours like the horse riding, but for now it's on to planning our next trip away.<br />

I just want an easy, happy life. Can I say that? I'm sure we all want an easy life, and I'm sure there will be people that would say I'm stupid because life isn't easy and no it's not, but I want to be happy, to feel stable, to feel secure and not live a life on the edge, stressed and miserable. It's one of the hardest battles I have had to face, and my god am I determined to not let it win. </div>

get lean and lose weight over the last year the healthy way. And no, it is not
trying out juice detoxes or exercising for hours on end, it's simply exercising
more and eating a healthy, balanced diet. Bet you're thinking 'oh here we go
again *rolls eyes*, but there are so many people out there who truly believe
that these diets are the way forward.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<b>1) Lifting weights will make you look like a man</b>.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

A phrase you often hear when women first join a gym is 'I just want to tone up
but I don't want to build too much muscle or look like a man'. If only it was
that easy to become muscle bound. That's no different to going to a boxing
class and saying "I want to be a better boxer but I don't want to be as
good as Mike Tyson". Hopefully you get the gist.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Toning up isn't really a meaningful expression - you can't 'tone' a muscle, or
make it cut, ripped, sculpted etc. The only way you can change the shape of
your body is to build muscle or to lose fat (become leaner) - losing fat
will reveal the muscles underneath. When you break it down 'toning up' simply
means that people want to be able to gain a little bit of muscle or to lose a
bit of fat, but usually a combination of both.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Muscle is mostly a product of genetics and testosterone. 99.9% of people
will not have the genetics to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger so no matter how
hard and smart they train they will never look like him. He was gifted with
near perfect genetics to build huge muscle with symmetry. You will rarely see
someone looking like Arnie down your local gym and if you do the chances are
they are not natural and they will stand out a mile.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
When you see those musclebound men and women on the cover of magazines the chances
are they are not natural and they likely take steroids/growth
hormone/testosterone etc which massively enhances their physiques beyond their
natural limits.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Women typically have 15 times less testosterone than men. This means that the
average muscle building potential of women is much much lower than that
for men, and even the average male will never become musclebound despite an
intensive lifting programme. On top of this, unless you are willing to eat the
equivalent of a horse everyday (eating a huge calorie surplus) then the amount
of muscle you can build is very limited.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
<b>2) The weights section is just for men. </b><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";"><br />
</span></b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";">This myth has been
around for a long time but I think the corner is gradually being turned. It's
true that when you go into the weights section you will likely see men in the
majority, but the reality is that most of these are so busy pea-cocking or
looking in the mirror that they will never even notice you are the there. The
others - that are there to work hard - will be too engrossed in their own
training to bat an eyelid.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Working in a gym I spend most days in the weights section and I can see that
the balance is changing. Women of all shapes and sizes are using the weights
section and in some instances I see women lifting more weight than some of
the guys, or guys asking for lifting advice from the women. If
your goal is to lose fat, 'tone up', get stronger, or to change the shape of
your body then lifting weights is the most effective means of achieving this.
The list of benefits is huge and I have personally trained with people who had
seen very little results from attending classes and going on fad diets, but
then seen massive body changes by simply becoming stronger by lifting
weights. These women didn't start looking like men, but they did fix
imbalances, become leaner, fitted into their clothes better and had a new sense
of confidence in what they could do with their bodies. Apart from all this, by
building muscle it meant that their body burned more calories at rest simply
because muscle is a hungry beast.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Think about the women whose bodies you admire - the chances are their bodies
have been built in the weights room not on the treadmill. If you just do cardio
you will become a smaller version of yourself (up to a point) but if you do
weights you'll be able to get a firmer butt, stronger and leaner arms and that
attractive shapely back.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
<b>3. Eating like a rabbit and cutting out all your favourite foods will make
you lose weight</b><o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";"><br />
</span></b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";">This is true, but hear
me out. If you eat lettuce leaves and carrots all day long, you are sure
to lose weight... for a while. Then you will be so bored of this that you will
revert back to your previous eating habits and put back on all your weight.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
The truth is, all diets work, but only up to a point. If you currently eat
potatoes everyday but then you decide to replace potatoes with spinach and only
eat potatoes on a Wednesday afternoon then you will lose weight. You might
think that this is because spinach is magic and potatoes are evil carbs but the
truth is you are just eating fewer calories than before.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
All diets work because they ensure you eat less calories than you did before.
The simple rule of weight loss or gain is a) eat less calories than you do
currently (what you eat currently is called your maintenance) and you will lose
weight, this is called a calorie deficit, or b) eat more calories than your
maintenance and you will put on weight, this is called a calorie surplus.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Diets are typically viewed as short term and that's why they often fail. People
usually cut out things that they actually love (like carbs, chocolate or
alcohol) and after a while, they rebel, but because their body has been getting
so few calories it has caused their metabolism to drop. This means that when
they do revert back to their old eating habits and start eating
carbs/chocolate/alcohol again the extra calories instantly become weight gain
because their metabolism was so slow.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
The key to success is to follow the 80/20 rule. Eat 80% of the good unprocessed
stuff like sweet potato, lean meats, wholemeal carbs, oats, vegetables, fruit,
eggs, brown rice etc and still allow yourself for 20% of the treats. Don't
go overboard with this, remember these are still treats. For example if your
goal is to consume 2000 calories per day then 300 - 400 of these calories can
be from the naughty foods. But remember, this is included in the 2000 and not
on top of it.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
If you want to become leaner and your maintenance is currently 2000 calories
(you would work this out by keeping a food diary) then the process is simple.
Don't worry about cutting out food groups, simply cut your calories by 15% and
stick to the 80/20 rule. This means your new goal would be to eat 1700 calories
80% of the healthy stuff and up to 20% of the cheekiness. Make sure you get
protein and veg in every meal (ok, maybe not veg for breakfast), but if you
look at this is a lifestyle change and not just a quick fix then you will see
positive results.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
<b>4. You need to work out for hours on end to burn that fat</b><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";"><br />
</span></b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";">Can I give you the
perfect fat burning formula?<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
- Eat at a 15% calorie deficit.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">- Engage in full
body weight training 2 to 3 times per week.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;">- Add a little
bit of conditioning/cardio if you enjoy it or to maintain/improve your fitness.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
I wrote it in this order because that is the order of importance (in my
opinion). The easiest way to lose fat is through what you eat (see above). You
can become extremely lean by making good food choices and by eating at a
moderate calorie deficit.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
By adding weight training into the mix you can change your body shape, grow
some booty and make your resting metabolism higher. You don't need to train for
more than 45 minutes and certainly no more than one hour per session. After
extended periods of high stress (training) your body becomes less productive
and without adequate fuel it will likely become catabolic which is when your
body starts to use it's own muscle for fuel - which is <i>highly</i> counter
productive.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Cardio is the icing on the cake and should be used sparingly unless you are
training for a particular event or sport. You cannot outrun a bad diet which
basically means that if you eat too much of the bad stuff, no amount of running
will cancel it out. If you eat a heavy curry (taking you above your daily
calories), it could be as much as 1000 calories. For most people that equates
to two hours of jogging - surely it's much easier to not eat that curry in the
first place rather than sacrifice 3 hours of your life down the gym (i've
included shower, travel and changing time)!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
I see lots of people spending hours and hours on cardio machines thinking it is
the silver bullet to achieving their goals, but it very rarely is. For most
people 15 minutes of high intensity conditioning or 30 minutes of steady state
cardio two to three times per week will be enough.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
<b>5. Eating carbs is totally bad for you - you need to cut them out</b><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";"><br />
</span></b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";">The old adage
'everything in moderation' is just as true with nutrition. In the 70's fat was
the enemy, then it was saturated fat, then it was carbs and now it is sugar.
Things tend to go round full circle but the crux of the matter is that if you
eat everything in balance (80/20 rule) then you cant go far wrong. Eat too much
sugar and your teeth will fall out and your chances of developing diabetes increase
but eat it in moderation and the risks are massively reduced.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Carbs have got an unfair beasting recently. They are not the enemy and they
have a fundamental role in providing energy for the body. It's true that the
body can run on low or no carbs but that does not mean it is optimal, it just
means the body is able to adapt. The body's preferred fuel is glucose and the
best source of this comes from carbs. If you are an active person or play
sports then your body will function better with a good supply of carbs. This is
why you hear about marathon runners carb loading and Michael Phelps eating
pasta.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Some people respond well to lower carbs and some people respond well to higher
carbs, but everyone is unique. What is important is that people realise carbs
are not evil. If you eat too much of anything then you will put on weight
whether that be carbs, fats or protein. People often mention that they lost
weight in the first week of cutting out carbs - this is simply water weight and
not meaningful. One gram of carbs leads to approximately four grams of stored
water, so when the carbs are depleted then so is the stored water.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
One thing to watch out for with carbs is the Glycemic Index (GI) rating of the
food. The higher the value the quicker it will be digested. As a rule low GI
foods are preferred (such as wholewheat products) because they take longer to
digest which means your blood sugar will be more stable and you will have a
longer lasting supply of energy.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<b>6. Drinking water helps you lose weight</b><o:p></o:p></span></div>

</span></b><span style="font-family: "times new roman";">Water is not the magic
key to weight loss but it is pretty amazing.<o:p></o:p></span></span></div>

The human body is made up of approximately 60% water and the muscles are about
70% water. What does this mean? It means that the body operates optimally with
a good level of hydration. If you've ever been dehydrated you will know how
much it affects performance - the headache, feeling sick, lacking energy.
Conversely, when you are hydrated then your body is primed for action.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "times" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br />
Water is also a great way to flush out toxins. Drink water frequently
throughout the day to the point that you are regularly going to the toilet -
you will soon learn the right amount. If you are thirsty then you are likely
already a little dehydrated. If you have too little water in your diet your
body is more likely to retain water (as a buffer) in the which can give you
that bloated look. However, If you are drinking an adequate supply of water
then the body is happy and it will realise it doesn't need to preserve the
water in the skin anymore. This is why water can seem like a great tool for
weight loss. Finally, drinking plenty of water will ensure you never
mistake thirst for hunger. Often when people are thirsty they mistake it for
hunger which can lead to overeating, when necking a simple glass of water would
have been enough to curb those cravings.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

If you know me well enough then you know that my favourite meal of the day is breakfast. Controversial I know, but I bloody love it. I have a serious sweet tooth so I will always head straight for a healthy, but sweet brekkie.<br />

Here are 3 of my own recipes for my favourite breakfasts:<br />
<br />
<b>Homemade granola </b><br />
<b><br /></b>
It's something you will need to make in advance, but it's easy enough and means you have a week's worth of granola ready for a speedy brekkie before work/school.<br />
<br />
To make my homemade granola you will need:<br />
<br />
- 300g oats<br />
- 100g sultanas<br />
- 100g pumpkin seeds<br />
- 50g sunflower seeds<br />
- 50g goji berries<br />
- 5 tbsp coconut oil<br />
- 2 tbsp date syrup/maple syrup<br />
- 1 tsp vanilla extract<br />
Optional - add a tsp of cinnamon<br />
<br />
Method:<br />
<br />
- Mix all the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl<br />
- Melt the coconut oil in a saucepan and add the date syrup and vanilla extract (the date syrup won't mix in with the coconut oil but that's fine)<br />
- Pour the syrup mixture over the dry ingredients and mix together<br />
- Put into a baking dish and bake for 40-45 mins, stirring every 5 minutes or so<br />
<br />
Serve with yoghurt or milk and berries.<br />

<b>Chocolate porridge with hazelnuts, dates and raspberries</b><br />

Sometimes you just want something warm in the morning and although this may take a little longer than plain porridge topped with honey, if you have the hazelnuts, dates and raspberries ready to go, it's really easy and quick. I use frozen raspberries as it's not only cheaper, I really like the cold raspberries on top of my hot porridge.<br />
<br />
For the porridge you will need:<br />
<br />
- Oats<br />
- Almond milk<br />
- 1 tsp raw cocao powder<br />
- 1 tbsp date/maple syrup<br />
- Chopped dates<br />
- Chopped hazelnuts<br />
- Frozen raspberries<br />

Method:<br />
- Put your oats into a microwaveable bowl/jug and cover with almond milk<br />
- Microwave until it's the consistency you want<br />
- Stir in the date/maple syrup and the cocao powder<br />
- Top with hazelnuts, dates and frozen raspberries<br />

<b>Scrambled eggs on rye bread</b><br />

On the weekend I like to make myself something a little extra special. Sometimes i'll have protein pancakes if i've been to the gym, but if i'm having a lazy Saturday (which is most weeks) then i'll go for this gorgeous scrambled eggs on toasted rye bread.<br />
<br />
I actually got inspiration for this recipe from The Body Coach plan I did a year or so back and have just modified it slightly to my tastes (I appreciate it doesn't look particularly appetising in this image, it was really hard to make it look nice. Tasted pretty darn good if you ask me).<br />
<br />
For this you'll need:<br />
<br />
- 2 eggs<br />
- 2 slices rye bread<br />
- A couple of mushrooms<br />
- A couple of cherry tomatoes<br />
- 1 spring onion<br />
- As much feta cheese as you like<br />
<br />
Method:<br />
<br />
- Chop up your muchrooms, spring onion and tomatoes and add to a frying pan with a little oil.<br />
- Fry these off a until a little softer and then add your eggs<br />
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper and fry until done<br />
- Toast your rye bread and top with the scrambled eggs<br />
Optional: Sprinkle with chilli flakes for a little extra kick<br />

Okay, so lets start with this corner and can we just take a moment to appreciate it, please. It's definitely my favourite part as I love the round mirror from Oliver Bonas and the little half table from Ikea. Shame the giant sound bar ruins it though (I blame that on my boyfriend, but we've got to let them put what they want in there sometimes, right?), oh and the messy box underneath but we'll just ignore that.<br />

With little storage space in the flat, this <i>massive </i>Ikea TV unit has been a god send for all those DVDs we own (I mean, who owns loads of DVDs anymore? We do, that's for sure), and it looks cute too. The prints on top I got from Etsy and printed and framed myself. When we first moved in I didn't want any personal photos around the flat as I felt it ruined the style I was going for. Mad, I know. This is another one of my favourite spots in the flat (not just because it's my bed, I promise) because of this gorgeous print we have hanging. This was something I'd seen on Etsy and loved it, so my incredibly talented cousin drew it for us which makes it even more special. I have a thing for grey too, so a lot of our furniture and decor is grey with splashes of colour (well, just copper mainly, there's a lot of copper decorations, I can't lie).<br />

And I can't miss out this chest of drawers. We needed some more storage space in the flat and so I was on the hunt for a tall chest of drawers, but we couldn't afford anything at the time. Luckily someone from our estate was giving away an old chest for free, so I snapped it up, gave it a lick of paint and changed the knobs on it. I got these ones from Zara in the sales and I couldn't be happier, they look perfect with the grey theme in our bedroom.<br />

I have to say I think my favourite shop for Homeware has to be Oliver Bonas. Everything is so simplistic and beautiful and all for a reasonable price. Urban Outfitters and Antropologie also have some amazing pieces in, so below are my favourite picks at the moment (can I have them all please?).<br />

I wasn't going to write this post, but it's something I thought would never happen to me and I wanted to share how I've dealt with being made redundant.<br />

If i'm honest, I wasn't shocked when it happened. I'd been at my current agency for only 6 months when the client made a business decision to merge the social channels with another arm of the business meaning my agency no longer needed me on that account and I knew deep down there wasn't enough other work for me. So when I was told, I wasn't shocked but I had the quick realisation that very soon I wouldn't have a job to go to and burst into tears (can you blame me?). I had a panic attack, which wasn't unusual at the time really as I've been going through a tough time anyway, and then took a deep breath and calmed myself down. It was all going to be okay, I told myself.<br />
<br />
It didn't take long before I decided that 2016 had been such a bloody terrible year for me that it was a blessing in disguise and a new start would do me the world of good (fresh start and all that jazz). So I set about finding myself something new. I was lucky enough that although I was contractually on a weeks notice, they gave me a month meaning I was able to take Christmas off and have plenty of time to find something new.<br />
<br />
Since being told, I haven't let it get me down more than I already was, I've used it to motivate me to make a change and find somewhere I'm totally 100% happy again. I've been to plenty of interviews and have spoken to enough people about possible jobs and have just accepted a freelance role to start later this month!<br />
<br />
But through all this my family and so many friends have been supportive. I am so lucky to have these people around me and I think that's the key thing to do if it ever happens to you; surround yourself with people who care and will look after you. Redundancy sucks, but you have to try to look on the bright side and use it to your advantage. I wouldn't have started blogging again and I wouldn't be considering all my options to make 2017 a happier place. The world is my oyster and I am going to live it whatever way makes me happy (just as long as I can pay my bills, but i'll make it work).<br />

Well hello again, how are you? I am back and I am hoping that I am back for good. Blogging again has been in the pipeline for a few years now, pretty much since I stopped doing it and I've decided that 2017 is going to be a better year and a more productive year. So here's to a new year, new me and all that cliche stuff.<br />

And as it's the new year, I've set myself some goals (along with everyone else) and I thought as my first post back I'd share these with you, so here goes:<br />

1. Get myself into the best shape i've ever been.<br />
This was last year's resolution and I'm happy to say that I stuck to it. A year ago I couldn't even do one push up without being on my knees, but now I am doing 10 in a row with no problems. 6 months ago I thought swinging a 8kg kettlebell was really hard, and now I'm swinging 20kg without a problem and 28kg for a round of 10. I have toned up completely and am in the best shape I've been in a long time, so 2017 is the year that I continue that. I want to be stronger, fitter, leaner and happy with how I look.<br />
<br />
2. Be happier<br />
2016 wasn't a great year for me so this year I am determined to make it a happier year. I want to look back on 2017 as a happy year filled with memories. Simple.<br />
<br />
3. Make this blog a business.<br />
I know so many people are blogging and trying to become successful youtubers and bloggers these days, but it's honestly been a dream of mine for years but real life, jobs and paying my mortgage all got in the way and I believed it would never happened. But it will never happen if I don't give it a go, right?<br />

Last week it was my boyfriend's 21st birthday and so I took him to Bath for a relaxing trip away. We've both been to Bath before but only when we were kids so we don't remember it. It is the most beautiful place and I think I want to live there one day. </span><br />

<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">I had heard a lot of good things about airbnb and so gave it a try when booking our accommodation. We stayed in a beautiful little apartment that was a 10 minute walk from the town centre and had an incredible shower and super king size bed! Our host was great and I would definitely recommend using airbnb if you need somewhere to stay, rather than booking a hotel.</span><br />
